Campsite
Do your accommodations have air conditioning?
Only Premium and Privilege accommodation is equipped with air conditioning.
Is a Rocamadour campsite suitable for a family vacation?
Yes, the Rocamadour Le Ventoulou campsite is perfectly suited to family vacations, whether for a weekend or a longer stay. It offers a free indoor heated swimming pool and a varied program of seasonal activities for adults and children.
What are the main places to visit from a campsite in the Lot?
The Lot Le Ventoulou campsite is located close to major sites such as Rocamadour, designated the most beautiful village in France, the Padirac chasm and the towns of Martel and Sarlat in the Dordogne valley.
Does Camping Le Ventoulou have a wellness area?
Yes, Le Ventoulou campsite offers a wellness area with massages, beauty treatments and a holistic boutique for a soothing, Zen experience.
Is there a kids' club at the campsite?
The kids’ club is free, but some activities require prior registration. You can register as soon as you arrive at the campsite, after the welcome drink on Sunday.
It is open to children aged 5 to 12.
The kids’ club is open during the high season, in July and August.
Is the campsite accessible at all hours?
Motorized traffic is prohibited between 10.30pm and 8am. Please leave your car in the parking lot at the entrance after this time and return via the pedestrian walkway.
Is end-of-stay cleaning included in my booking?
End-of-stay cleaning is not included in the price. However, it is possible to subscribe to the “departure cleaning package” supplement when booking (€60/€90/€120/€160 depending on the rental). With this extra charge: dishes must be washed and tidied, rubbish emptied, the fridge clean and empty, and disposable undersheets removed from beds.
Are the rental properties accessible to people with reduced mobility?
We have 3 cottages specifically designed for people with reduced mobility:

Cottage Premium“Les P’tits Quercynois” 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4
Cottage Confort“Carennac” 2 bedrooms, 4/6 persons
A sanitary cubicle (toilet, shower, washbasin) complies with standards for people with reduced mobility.
Are the rentals equipped with dishwashers?
Only Premium accommodation is equipped with a dishwasher.
Is a refrigerator available for hire?
Table Top fridges can be hired (subject to availability) for €5/day.
Can I park my car on my plot?
Each pitch has one or two parking spaces (depending on the rental) either on site or in a dedicated parking space. Additional cars, subject to space availability, will be charged extra. Alternatively, you can park your car in the outdoor parking lot.
Are babies and children counted in the number of people in the accommodation?
Families are welcome at Ventoulou!
The maximum capacity shown for our chalets includes all participants in the stay, including babies and young children.
Each traditional pitch can be occupied by a maximum of 6 people (or by parents + children in the case of large families).
Good news: there’s no extra charge for additional children under 3 throughout the season on all our traditional and rental pitches.
Do I have to pay a deposit when renting a mobile home?
Exactly!
You will be asked to pay a security deposit to guarantee that the rental facilities are maintained and that the accommodation is clean when you leave.
For all bookings of rental accommodation or pitches with private individual sanitary facilities, a deposit will be required, broken down as follows:
– 200 €, from which may be deducted the cost of any damage caused,
– 60 €, 90 €, 120 € or 160 € according to rental or pitch for cleaning costs, if not done on departure.
This can only be done via our partner Swikly, whose link you received in the e-mail confirming your stay.
Installation on a site
Depending on the category, our pitches are equipped with electricity, water and drainage, and range in size from 80 to 140 m². These pitches can accommodate: 1 caravan or family tent or camper van 1 vehicle included in the price of the stay. Our Premium pitches with private sanitary facilities offer you every comfort.
Do your accommodations have television?
Only accommodations in the Premium range are equipped with a TV. However, a TV room is available 24 hours a day.
Arrival / Departure
What are the departure and arrival times for a pitch?
For pitches, arrivals are at 2.30pm and departures no later than 12pm.
What are the check-in and check-out times for a rental?
For rentals, arrivals are from 2:30 pm and departures no later than 10 am.
Pets
Do you accept pets?
Yes, our 4-legged friends are welcome and accepted in all our accommodations, for a daily fee payable at the time of booking. Pets must be tattooed, vaccinated and on a leash.
We have several services available: a Toutoubar, a canidouche and a ToutouPark with its agility course.
Camping Le Ventoulou Sites et Paysages is a member of Club Oscar and a partner of the “Emmènetonchien.com” website, whose mission is to make pets an integral part of our vacations.
Since this year (*New in 2023*), we also offer a day-care service for your dog, lasting from 1 hour to a full day from June 15 to September 15, with a professional team in a dedicated area.
Swimming
Is the pool heated?
The indoor swimming pool is heated throughout the opening period of our campsite in the Lot, with opening times varying according to the season.
You’ll have the pleasure of bathing in water that’s at least 26 degrees Celsius. In the high season, weather permitting, we take to the open air to soak up the sun’s rays.
We remind you that your children are your responsibility at all times, whatever the season.
Do men have to wear swimming trunks at the pool?
Shorts and Bermuda shorts are tolerated, but we ask that they be different from those worn during the day and on the playground to ensure the hygiene of our water park.
Is the pool open to visitors?
Our aquatic area is reserved exclusively for our customers. Thank you for your understanding.
The pool deck is wheelchair-accessible.
Services
Is there a library at the campsite?
Yes, a library is available 24 hours a day, lending books is free, and you can even exchange books,
Do you have laundry facilities?
Yes, 2 laundry facilities are available, one with 2 washing machines, 1 tumble dryer and 1 dishwasher and a 2nd with 1 washing machine, 1 tumble dryer and 1 dishwasher.
Tokens for washing machines and tumble dryers can be purchased at reception (€5/wash and €3/dry), and dishwasher tokens (1 per pitch per day) are also available at reception, at a cost of €4.50 each.
Is equipment available on loan?
Yes, we lend the following to reception: vacuum cleaner, iron, ping-pong racket, balls, etc.

How do I make a payment?

Do you accept vacation vouchers?
Yes, we accept vacation vouchers and e-Chèque-Vacances to pay for your stay with us.
What methods of payment does camping le Ventoulou accept?
We accept all types of payment: credit card, bank cheque, vacation voucher, etc. A deposit will be requested at the time of booking and the balance will be deferred upon receipt of the rental contract.

Other business
I'm coming by electric car. Can I recharge my vehicle during my stay?
A double charging station is in operation 24 hours a day at the entrance to the campsite, before the barrier.
It is strictly forbidden to plug your vehicle into the standard sockets on pitches and mobile homes.
Do you welcome groups?
Our campsite is recognized as a “Bonne Adresse” by the Fédération Française de Cyclotourisme and as a “Relais Motards“.
We have a number of mobile homes (2-persons, 4/6-persons, 6/8-persons and 9-persons) located in distinct neighborhoods, allowing families and friends to get together.
Before and after the season, we also offer 1/2-board or full-board catering. It’s the ideal formula for clubs, groups, ceremonies, weddings, cousins gathering from 20 to 100 people… Each group reception is the subject of a personalized quote, depending on the date envisaged, the number of participants and the services required. Please contact the reception team to discuss your specific requirements.
Is it possible to use a BBQ on the site?
Yes, you can use a barbecue on your pitch, but only with gas or charcoal (electric plancha prohibited). You can also use the communal barbecues in the 2 dedicated areas.
I'm looking for a campsite in the Lot, is it possible at Ventoulou?
All our Confort and Privilège Garden pitches (for tent, caravan or motorhome) are available for overnight rental throughout the campsite’s opening hours.
Premium pitches with private sanitary facilities and Premium Pack Cosy are bookable by the week from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday in July and August, and by the night in the off-season.
Outside July/August, it’s possible to spend a short stay at the campsite, as all accommodation can be rented for a minimum of 2 nights.
For greater flexibility, arrival and departure days are now possible on Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday in high season, depending on the rental.
Is there WIFI at the campsite?
Yes, this is a free, unlimited service on the campsite. However, we invite you to disconnect and get back to basics for a slow-vacation.
How can I check that my reservation has been registered?
An e-mail confirming your reservation will be sent to you automatically. Please do not hesitate to contact our reception team in the event of non-receipt.
Do you have baby kits?
Highchairs and cots are available for hire on request. Please let us know when booking, as numbers are limited. Each bathroom also has a baby area with a dedicated bathtub.
What’s more, our “Les P’tits Quercynois Our “baby rooms” are perfectly suited to families with young children, as they come with a complete baby kit (high chair, cot and adapted crockery), as well as a specially-equipped bathroom with a small toilet, washbasin, clawfoot tub and changing table. There’s also a games room and a large terrace with a sliding gate and a playhouse.
Why are you asking for our license plate?
We require license plates for access to the campsite. The automatic barrier reads your number plate and lets you into the campsite.
How do I book a rental or pitch?
Whether it’s a camping pitch or a rental (gite, cottage, mobile home, caravan or lodge tent), our online availability is always up to date.
You can choose the type of accommodation best suited to your vacation and your desires, with complete peace of mind. Each rental has its own file with all its features.

How far is the campsite from the shops and town center?
We are located 7 km from Gramat town center and 14 km from Saint-Céré town center. Each offers several supermarket chains, including Leclerc, Carrefour Market, Lidl, Aldi and 8 à Huit.
Otherwise, our best advice is to visit one of the many markets in the Dordogne Valley and enjoy the local flavours to please your taste buds!
I'd like to invite people from outside the campsite. What's the procedure?
Please inform reception if you wish to receive visitors and pay the applicable visitor rate. This does not include access to the swimming pool, which is reserved for our guests.
How do I find the campsite map?
You can find the campsite map on the home page of our website in the “Downloads” section.
Can I continue to compost my waste even when I'm on vacation?
It’s possible to compost and camp! For this purpose, we provide a “bio bucket” available at reception, as well as a composting area.
